Alfred graduated from the First Institute of Art and Design and the Hong Kong Art School, he worked in advertising, graphic design, and branding agencies, engaging in graphic advertising, posters, publications, packaging, web design, brand identity, and art direction. He has won several awards, including the Silver Award for Graduation Project at First Institute of Art and Design, the Best Visual Award for Graduation Project at the Hong Kong Art School, and the Gold Award for Promotional Poster from the Graphic Arts Association of Hong Kong. He works at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts since 2016, providing design / art directions, designing promotional materials for the school production / marketing use. Apart from design jobs, he also shared with students design theory, practical tools and some hot topics, e.g. relationship between design and artificial intelligence etc.
